15 Jahre GRÜNE WELLE KOMMUNIKATION: Münchner GreenTech-Agentur feiert mit zwei neuen Kunden
PRESSEMELDUNG IN EIGENER SACHE
Munich, February 3, 2026 – Amid the current “rollback” in climate policy, GRÜNE WELLE KOMMUNIKATION, a Munich-based communications agency specializing in the GreenTech, HighTech, and Green Economy sectors, is celebrating its 15th anniversary with two new clients from the pest control and circular economy industries.
GRÜNE WELLE KOMMUNIKATION was founded in January 2011 in the wake of the Fukushima nuclear disaster, the German government’s subsequent phase-out of nuclear power, and the launch of the energy transition. In the years that followed, the agency successfully established itself in the market as a specialized consulting firm for green issues. The agency has also held its ground in recent months, which have been marked by an economic downturn and a rollback in climate policy. Around the turn of the year 2025/26, owner Frank Brodmerkel—a long-time expert in green technologies and sustainability—was able to secure two new clients in the fields of pest control/water protection and circular economy/resource conservation.
First of all, this is the company Rockstroh Ecosmart GmbH, which specializes in municipal pest control. Rockstroh Ecosmart offers special bait protection boxes. These prevent highly toxic rat bait from coming into contact with water and thus damaging the water cycle. The goal is thus to protect waterways on the one hand and effectively control rats on the other. This is because rats can transmit up to 100 diseases that are dangerous to humans. Since last fall, GRÜNE WELLE KOMMUNIKATION has been handling the client’s trade press and public relations as well as its social media relations.
As a second new customer, the Estonian company New Standard Oil based in Tallinn, has turned to the expertise of the Munich-based agency. The young startup operates in the field of the circular economy and the recovery of recyclable materials from biogenic waste. In recent years, the company has already worked closely with the Fraunhofer Society. With the support of GRÜNE WELLE KOMMUNIKATION, New Standard Oil aims to enter the German market in the coming years. The agency is responsible for press and public relations, offline and online/social media communications, as well as stakeholder engagement and network building.
“I look back on the past 15 years with pride. We have succeeded in convincing numerous companies across a wide range of green sectors—whether water treatment, renewable energy, recycling technologies, or refrigeration and air conditioning—of our agency’s quality and technical expertise,” says Frank Brodmerkel, the agency’s founder and owner. “Our mission remains unchanged: to support companies and institutions in creating transparency, credibility, and measurable results in their communication about green technologies. Especially in times of rollbacks and political setbacks, it is all the more important to communicate green technologies consistently and fact-based, to build trust in solution providers, and to highlight clear prospects for a more sustainable future.”
